You whisper gently,
desire's decieving tune;
an orchestra of emotions,
all of which dwell on you.
An everlasting devotion,
that you uncouthly scorned;
I still remember your declarations,
ignoring all those who warned
You were just another liar,
playing love arrogantly as if a game;
I'm impressed you had the audacity to use me,
for elementary fame.
The girl you no longer glance at,
has turned her back as well;
no longer do I year your voice,
or fall under your eyes' spell.
The days we spent in nirvana,
was an imaginary bliss;
every moment falsified,
right down to a kiss.
The oblivion I fell into,
and my ignorance to reality,
much to your disappointment,
is what truely ruined me.
And so I say goodbye to you,
and forget this summer past,
after all it was me,
who claimed this could never last...
